I love it when a day goes as planned. Yesterday, I uploaded eight more patterns, created their cards, and today the same happened–Bringing my game design pattern total to 40! Just 10 more to go to reach my first goal, and version 1.0. Having the same luck as today, it will get done tomorrow night.
Out of the 8 that I created and uploaded today, this one is my favorite. The art isn’t the reason–I had to go in and flex my Photopea muscles to get it just right. DALL-E just couldn’t seem to not add older items from past generated images, so I had to erase/engender/make smoke and mirror effects to get it just right. There are some tricks to get DALL-E reset its recent memory, and stop adding things you didn’t ask for in an image, but one of those ways requires you to make a new chat thread. That option comes with its own caveats, so I just fixed the image myself. Image editing comes with its own reward. I am pleased with the outcome of this illustration.
